The John R. Wald Company entered the digital printing business
by developing a system to print backgrounds and variable data
for license plates. Our license plate expertise dates back
to 1924 when our company was founded. Since then we have been
providing innovatively engineered systems, equipment, and
solutions that "Make It Work" for our customers.
Our line of digital printers work great for license plates
however, the technology was originally designed for sign and
label manufacturing. Thermal transfer printing lends itself
to a wide range of sign or label applications that lead to
an endless list of opportunities. The printers utilize resin,
wax and sublimation ink rolls to effectively broaden the possibility
of printing on more types of substrate media with steadfast
outdoor durability.
