DigiTag 1650
Six (6) Print Head Digital Printing System |
| |
|
|
| |

John R. Wald is pleased to introduce the next
generation of digital license plate printers. The DigiTag
1650 prints 12" wide substrate with 4, 5, or 6 individual
print heads that allows for four-color process plus two spot
colors. With unmatched speed (885 ft / hour) and print resolution
(1600 x 400 dpi), the DigiTag 1650 is far superior to any
other license plate printer on the market today.
Our complete digital license plate system
utilizes VariData LP, a custom software application to merge
variable plate backgrounds with character strings to produce
digitally printed sheeting that can be blanked and rimmed
to produce finished license plates. Alternatively, license
plate producers may also opt to utilize existing embossing
and finishing capacity and use the DigiTag System to produce
specialty background sheeting that can be blanked, embossed
and finished via traditional means. Either way, the DigiTag
1650 is an economical alternative to the demands of ever-increasing
specialty plate designs.
An integrated Laminator / Rewinder system
(not shown in picture) is included in our standard system
in order to laminate a protective layer of clear UV inhibiting
material on top of printed designs for extended life of finished
plates that meet the stringent multi-year outdoor durability
requirements of U.S. license plates.
