We offer the “Green Choice” with 3105 alloy with a chrome free conversion coating.  The 3105 alloy uses recycled material while still maintaining property and performance characteristics.  Aluminum recycling provides an energy savings of 95 percent, thus greatly lowering the industry’s impact on the environment.   
The chrome free conversion coating, BetzDearborn Permatreat 1021B, is used to produce a corrosion-resistant organic coating. This coating has corrosion and adhesion characteristics equal to or better than the older chrome pretreatment.  This high performance is achieved along with the added benefit of removing chrome, a heavy metal, from our process.  This is an environmental benefit to employees and customers alike.  The BetzDearborn Permatreat is compatiable with Avery Dennison and 3M reflective sheeting.
