DigiTag™ High Speed Laminator
A self-contained, stand-alone powered unit capable of applying pressure sensitive adhesive coated protective overlaminate film to the surface of the printed reflective license plate sheeting. This unit will apply overlaminate to rolls of printed sheeting with high speed and accuracy.
The laminator includes an easy-to-use touch panel and features step-less electronic tension control on both unwind and rewind spindles. The standard air expansion mandrels allow the user to quickly load and secure the rolls of material onto the supply spindles. A built-in BST Brand automatic web guiding module with ultrasonic sensing maintains accurate registration of the sheeting to the overlaminate. The unit also includes a user-friendly splice table with air-actuated clamps for accurately joining together rolls of sheeting to prevent waste.
The laminator features separate tension controls for Unwind, Lamination and Rewind. The laminator is equipped with special rubber coated nip rollers to ensure curl and wrinkle free lamination.
An adjustable speed control allows variable adjustment by the user up to a maximum speed of 236 feet per minute.
